Examples of PII include, but are not limited to, the following: account number (bank account, credit card, etc.), address, biometric identifier, license or identification number, date of birth, government identifiers (such as social security numbers), name, personnel number, photograph or video identifiable to an individual, vehicle identifier or serial number, and may also include other information related to an individual that may directly or indirectly identify the individual (e.g. salary, performance rating, purchase history, call history, etc.).
Company will implement and maintain reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to (i) ensure the security and confidentiality of PII; (ii) protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of PII; and (iii) protect PII from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into due account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the PII.
Company shall comply with the confidentiality, privacy, and data security requirements of any federal, state, or local law or regulation in the United States that is applicable to it in connection with the performance of services under this Agreement.
